How to fix iOS 13 update stuck issue on iPhone

The final version of iOS 13 is now available for iPhone/iPod devices and we know many of you is rushing to get the iOS 13 update as fast as possible. Aside from the new Dark Mode feature, there are still other great things in this update. But there is a problem here when many iOS users are stuck at iOS update screen and cannot complete the update process. If you are also stuck getting requested the update, solutions are always ready. 

Fortunately, there are some methods that can be applied in this case. Here are something you can try if your iPhone is unable to play ball.

Solutions to Fix iOS 13 Update Stuck Issue on iPhone

Method 1: Restart Your iPhone

It might seem an outdated solution, but you cannot imagine it brings a surprise. If you are stuck on iOS 13 update, reboot your iPhone and try it again from General > Software Update.

Method 2: Perform A Hard Reboot

 If a simple reboot does not help, then you should perform a forced restart on your iPhone. To do so, steps depends on the iPhone model you are using. 

  • For iPhone 8, 8 Plus, X and newer models: Press and holder Power along with one of two Volume buttons at once until you see the Apple logo. After that, release all the keys.
  • For iPhone 7, 7 Plus: Just press and hold the Power + Volume Down buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears on the screen. After your phone boots up, it means you have successfully  forced restarted your phone
  • For iPhone 6S/6S Plus: Press firmly the Side + Home button until you see the Apple logo. Then, release all the keys.

Method 3: Update iOS 13 through iTunes

If you are unable to update your iPhone to iOS 13 version via OTA since it suffers being stuck on the downloading screen, then you should manually update your phone via iTunes.

When a new iOS version is released, Apple server is usually overloaded. In this situation, the best solution is to wait for and then try again. While it’s boring, it will be better than making you impatient when nothing happens.
