Steps To Enable Dark Mode in iOS 13/iPadOS 13 Through Settings
To activate Dark Mode on your iPhone/iPad running iOS 13/iPadOS 13, you can easily enable it through the Settings app. Here is how to do so:
Step 1: Head to Settings app and tap on Display & Brightness.
Step 2: Choose Dark to put the feature into action.
A thing you should nơt is that you can also set this feature to automatically activate, based on your preferred time of a day. To do so, first, enable Dark Mode and then toggle the switch next to Automatic. After that, enable Options.
Depending the time you want to use Dark Mode feature, set Sunset to Sunrise or create a Custom Schedule as your convenience. So, you should take full advantage of this feature to bolster your viewing.
To disable Dark Mode, simply open up Control Center, touch and hold the brightness control button, then tap on “Appearance Dark” and you are ready to go.
How to Enable/Disable Dark Mode in iOS 12 And Older Versions
Step 1: On your iPhone/iPad, open Settings app and tap on General.
Step 2: Tap on Accessibility, click on Next, and then tap on Display Accommodations.
Step 3: Next, select Invert Colors and you will have two options:
Smart Invert: After it’s enabled, it will automatically reverse the colors of your device display, except for media, images. This feature also works with apps supporting dark color styles.
Classic Invert: You can simply reverse colors of the display. (It’s the one that’s existed for long.)
Step 4: Toggle the switch next to Smart Invert.

Later, if you decide to disable this feature, simply return to the same setting and then disable the switch for Smart Invert.

Quickly Turn ON/OFF Dark Mode By Triple-Clicking the Home Button
If you want to use this feature regularly; you can take advantage of Accessibility Shortcut to instantly disable/enable it. To do so.
Step 1: Launch Settings app → General → Accessibility.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap on Accessibility Shortcut.
Step 3: Choose Smart Invert Colors and close the Settings.
You can activate or disable Dark Mode just by pressing the Home button three times on your device.
